OPEN DAILY - from SATURDAY 18 NOVEMBER 2023
OPEN FROM SATURDAY 18 NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2023
We are looking forward to opening and meeting you all again from Saturday 18th December 2022 and you are welcome to call in any day ( or previous by arrangement)
However as many of you know we are a small working farm - and Farmer Ray enjoys growing Christmas trees for his grand children to enjoy and then for other local people too!
If you would like to reserve your tree earlier and then come and cut it nearer to Christmas we can do this for you no problem - call and have a look.
OPEN DAILY FROM SATURDAY 18 NOVEMBER 2023
As you turn down our drive - the Christmas Trees are just to the right down the drive. Please park in front of the cattle grid near the gate entrance to the tree field. Please DO NOT further down toward the house or elsewhere.
We will meet you at the gate - open and show you around - and you can choose your own tree and we will cut it freshly for you - then you can take it home to decorate and enjoy in your own home.
If we are not just about then please phone us on 07977 549425 or 01538 300101 - we have probably seen you anyway .... but were just doing something with the sheep! ..... and we are on our way up to you!
Please note - we do not currently have a tree wrapper, and wrapping them in plastic etc - so you may want to bring string or something suitable - depending on just what you want or what vehicle you have.

- After you have bought your tree it should be kept outside in a cool shaded place, preferably standing in water, until it is required indoors.
- Before bringing the tree indoors it is an advantage if about half an inch is cut off the butt in order to open up the pores of the tree – (much like fresh flowers) so that the 'tree can drink' which helps it to remain fresh.
- Mount it in a water-holding stand or wedge it in a bucket with pebbles, small stones or screwed up newspaper, but make sure it is secure.
- Place it away from direct heat.
- Keep the container topped up with water every day; you will be surprised how much it needs – Christmas trees can drink up to a pint a day!
- This will help to keep the needles on the tree and remaining as fresh a possible.
