Hand crafted from wool from the farm from our own heritage breed sheep - The Shropshire Breed - the oldest predigree breed in the UK.

The wool is carefully and skillfully sheared from our girls whilst they then enjoy their summertime coats and coolness!

Each fleece is labelled for traceability.

The wool is then hand washed and dried, and then goes through a hand carder to make our own wool batts on the farm.

The wool batts are then used to make into stripes and around a traditional warped wooden peg loom the wool is then hand twisted and woven to give its texture.

Standard size is 2ft x 3ft - but various sizes can be made by request - we are happy to help so please just enquire.

Lovely to put at the side of your bed and feel soft under your feet first thing in the morning, by your settee, or as a fireside rug - or where ever you would like one!

We can now hand dye our own wool on the farm - so different colour ways can be created if you have a specific request - ie we have recently done a 'Barbie pink' one for a special little girls bedroom! - please contact us for a quote!

Also used as seat covers to add extra comfort!
