Description

One of our beautiful home produced sheepskins.

These are firstly naturally cured with salt by hand on the farm by ourselves.

We then send them to one of the last remaining traditional tanneries in the UK where it takes some 34 weeks to process! (alot of sheepskins rugs are now sent abroad)

Luxurious long-wool, natural undyed and exceptionally dense.

The natural characteristics of wool and their incredible softness make these rugs perfect for any room in the house.

On the floor by the bed to curly your toes into first thing in the morning.
In front of the fire, curled up reading your book or watching a film
or draped over the back of a chair or sofa for added comfort and warmth.
Fabulous for creating a snug area on a sofa, your favourite chair, kitchen bench, or on the floor. They will last for many years.

They could also make a very good medical sheepskin, due to their soft and very supportive fleece that will work to provide immediate support and relief from bedsores and will quickly alleviate pressure on pressure points and aching limbs. They would be perfect for supporting shoulders, legs, or feet whilst lying in bed or sitting in a chair.

These sheepskins vary between 70cm to 95cm long x approximately 60 cm wide (this varies as every sheepskin is unique)

To clean - take it outside and give it a good shake and a brush.

Brushing regularly to help maintain and bring out the best in the wool fibres.
